Days until graduation: 22. Days until I am 22: 45. Why do I look best in pictures taken in the art building? If someone saw me taking them, would he or she think I was strange? These are the questions for my generation. Also, can you see the birdeee in the third-to-last picture?

Magnolias.
The magnolias around campus are stunning. I tried to capture the dew on their petals when I took pictures of them this morning on my way to class. In other news, I fail at makeup. How exactly are you supposed to get mascara off? I wore it yesterday, then washed my face, then wiped at my eyes a million times with tissues, and then took a shower this morning. I thought it was all gone, but then I looked at the picture of myself I had just taken and realized it was still there, smeared beneath my left eye. Why?? It reminds me of the time I was twelve and dusted some glitter on myself. I was picking glitter out of my hair and off my skin for months.

Living Green

Pages from Vogue Italia, February 2008. Via Clever Nettle. I love the chickens and the knitting and spinning. I hate how miserable they all look. Is it really that horrible to be a supermodel-farmer?

Wise Blood!

I don't know why I've been thinking of this movie lately. It's so strange. Fun fact: Brad Dourif was actually a fetus when he was cast in this role. Filming was delayed for an entire month so that he could be born.
