Snow in England

I don't really believe that it snows in England. I lived there for a year, and the amount of snow I saw was so little that it might have just blown over from France or something. I still like these pictures.

Also, it is my half birthday today. I am now a million and a half.

In December 1981 I had snow drifts to the depth of 2ft in the loft of my house. The ones outside were rather bigger. Getting the car home that night was quite an adventure, and I was the last one in the village to do so.

Actually, it is true that we don't get very much snow in lowland England most winters. Just now and again, though, we get true sub-arctic conditons.

I tried several combinations of things, but I could not figure out how you are 1,500,000, perplexed.

It is snowing in London now as I speak! Although I have to admit it is turning into great grey puddles. However we have been sledging for the past two winters. Last year it snowed to heavily when we walked across a local park, I looked across at a car struggling under a blanket of snow and saw a faint glimpse of light on its roof - then I realised it was a police car.
I totally adore snow, I'm off to throw a snow-ball at a bobby's hat now....
