Oh, December - the best and the worst month to be a student. I'm happy right now because I have a shiny new book about illuminated manuscripts. I won't be able to read it until I get all my work done, though. I'm done with one big project and am itching to finish the other ones.
1. At the Met - those cats look like Stripey; 2. Stripey in the window; 3. Tea at the Morgan Cafe in the Morgan Library and Museum; 4. My crafting nook; 5. I don't remember if this was a sunrise or a sunset; 6. Books; 7. Feet; 8. Tea at Tea & Sympathy in the Village; 9. BED.

As ever, you intrigue and provoke questions we have no right to ask.
I love that you are learning German, because I love your knitting, your writing, your blog and especially the fact you are as obsessed as I am with the Toast catalogue... I am trying to learn German at home so that I can eventually have a proper conversation with my German nieces.Lately I have been using busuu.com It has been wonderful for picking up extra every day type vocabulary. There are plenty of Germans there happy to correct my exercises for me too! Another great free resource I have been enjoying is http://deutschhappen.com/german-grammar.html . She does some fun vocab videos. Hope you are enjoying a Christmassy advent!
Nice photos. Love the one of Stripey and your crafting nook. It's such a cozy neat work space.
